As Quan Media Group has grown and added more to the team, nothing has been more important to me than getting everyone "in one place" every few months. We have our squad in the UK, NYC and LA, so to further our growth, build morale and set goals - we aim to get together IRL several times a year. Of course we stop & celebrate our growth & success with our annual Quantauk outing that is growing to be a tradition. The IRL team-building stems from my time RapportWW. Every other year Mike C. would lead a company-wide summit. First it was Los Angeles, then San Diego (below!). As our offices grew from single digit employees - it was integral we maintained the unanimous goal of company growth & innovation. Getting everyone in one place for two days was amazing. Media. Finance. Production. Morale skyrocketed, we learned from each other, and truly collaborated. Team building. Collaboration. The IRL experiences. You need this if you want to truly succeed and grow. Is Mr. Beast the Walt Disney of the creator economy? Or is he the Henry Ford? We’re living in a time where attention, power, and leverage is shifting… whether we know it or not. But why is this important? The internet is an incredible tool that works as a form what I describe to be “energetic echolocation.” If you put an idea out into the world, there’s a high likelihood it will find that people who resonate with it, will find it. We already see this today with hundreds and thousands of niche communities all over the internet. But what’s next? I believe it’s the hundreds of niche distribution first companies that will speak directly to and serve those communities. But, we need the infrastructure, support, and education to help make it possible.
