Slow and Steady growth I was recently vending at a local art event and had the pleasure of sampling Perfectly Cordial to an executive of Red Bull. I asked him for his best advice when it comes to growing a beverage company. He responded with Community and Slow and Steady growth. It warmed my heart and confirmed that I am on the right track. As a founder it’s easy to get caught up in the social media hype or the conference mania and think that you have to move fast, grow fast, do everything fast. Word of mouth is the number one mover for Perfectly Cordial. We have doubled down on Community by opening OneShop. Supporting over 100 small makers and founders throughout the year. We have changed our recipe to focus on sustainability but retaining our flavor. We have launched the Cordial Cart to bring inclusive drinking to large events and gatherings. To other founders: There is nothing wrong with small wins……….slow growth………and being a profitable business . #smallbusiness #femalefounder #blackownedbusiness #femalefounder #responsiblescaling

Your Business Growth Partner | Certified Coach | Transforming Sales into Meaningful Activity | Fostering Clarity and Direction Through Insightful Conversations
"So what do you do?" Do you like being asked this? If you are out of work or a stay-at-home parent, probably not. I also object to the notion that the first thing you want to know about me is what I "do" - as if my only value to this world is my output and productivity. Is that really the most interesting thing about me? But sometimes the the question "what do you do" makes sense...especially if you are networking. So do you have a good response to the question? ✔ Is it short, to the point, and easily understandable? ✔ Does it get to the heart of why people (should) work with you? ✔ Does it elicit engagement and more questions/conversations? ✔ Is it memorable and does it flow naturally from within you? If not, let's talk about it. Even better, let's discussion in a room full of other business development professional and share best practices. That's exactly what we are doing at our next Brew Up Business. Don't miss it! I'm like the Anthony Bourdain of Business. I’m the CEO of Punks & Pinstripes, a community for business punks. I'm also a speaker and advisor | ex-Bloomberg, Google, PWC | Dad, Husband, Punk
From 2007-2021, while UK beer sales fell by -16%, BrewDog expanded by 854%, doubling revenue for 6 consecutive years. You may have heard of them when they launched a label with Vladimir Putin in drag, or when they drove a tank through the streets of London, or when they projected a photograph of its naked founders onto the UK Houses of Parliament. The company's success is a testament to the power of punk as a business strategy. Each provocative stunt proved that they were creating a new category, not a new entrant. Each fight built loving solidarity with their community. It separated them from their boring, stagnant, stale competitors. In this Business Punk Case Study, we explore the company that inspired my company. Ladies and gentlemen, this is Brewdog. #entrepreneur #intrapreneur #brand
