This week my wife and I travelled to Amsterdam to celebrate her 40th birthday. We went to the Vincent Van Gogh museum and walked around the Anne Frank House. In preparation for this trip I re-read the “Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl” and the biography “Van Gogh.” In both instances I was struck by how, unknown to them, their lives impacted so many people after their deaths. Vincent only sold one of his 900 paintings during his lifetime. Anne’s diary wasn’t published until many years after WWII. Yet both have had a profound impact on the world. It’s such a great reminder to know that our examples, thoughts, and actions can live on long after us in ways we can’t even imagine.

Happy Annivesary Adam! And love your message about the impact that we all have outside of us, whether we recognize it or not immediately.
We were there this past week as well. Small world!
Perfect time of year to visit The Netherlands for tulip season. I've been twice, and missed the tulips both times. Sounds like it was an amazing trip.
Took my wife in March to celebrate her birthday, hope you both had as great a time as we did.
Looks like a great trip! I’m headed there at the end of May and the book suggestions are a great idea!
Beautiful!!!
