Why Amazon Clothing/Apparel Brands MUST run Defensive Campaigns Amazon clothing brands should run defensive campaigns on their listings for a couple of reasons: 1. Protecting Brand Equity: Defensive campaigns help in maintaining brand visibility and recognition, ensuring that when shoppers search for specific branded items, they are directed to the correct listings. 2. Keeping competitors away from YOUR customers: By bidding on their own brand keywords, brands can prevent competitors from stealing their traffic and sales. Without defensive campaigns, competitors can advertise on a brand’s keywords, diverting potential customers to their products. 3. Enhancing Customer Trust: When customers search for a specific brand and find the correct listings, it enhances trust. If they are misdirected to a competitor’s product, it could lead to dissatisfaction and distrust. 4.
