𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗔𝗜 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗥𝗲𝗔𝗟𝗠 Apple's team has just introduced a breakthrough in AI called ReALM, aiming to transform the way voice assistants understand us. This new system is designed to figure out tricky references in conversations, like when we use "he" or "she" without a clear antecedent, or when we're talking about something visible on a screen. What makes #ReALM stand out is its ability to convert everything on a screen into text, helping it understand and respond to commands more like a human would. This approach has proven to be more effective than current technologies, even outdoing #OpenAI's #GPT-4 in tests. With ReALM, interacting with gadgets could become way smoother, especially when you're trying to navigate through menus without being super specific about what you're looking at. Apple's move could revolutionize how we use digital assistants, making them way smarter and more helpful in daily tasks. Keep an eye out for more #AI advancements from #Apple, especially with their big event, #WWDC, around the corner in June. More info: ReALM PAPER https://lnkd.in/dr7rkRnu

If what we are reading is true, then there are some exciting things are on the horizon from Apple at their upcoming ‘Glowtime’ event on September 9, 2024! AI will be center stage, with ‘Apple Intelligence’ set to change how we interact with our iOS devices. Here’s are a few things we are expecting to get: 🔹 ‘Apple Intelligence’: Apple’s AI system, integrated across the iPhone 16 lineup, boosting the user experience with more intuitive, contextual assistance. 🔹 Siri Redesign: Siri will get a fresh look with a glowing, colorful interface - and crucially, offering better interactions through AI. 🔹 A18 Chip: If the A-series follows its previous release trajectory, then we’ll get the A18 - but, *all* iPhone 16 models may come equipped with the new chip, which could also feature an upgraded Neural Engine, optimized for AI tasks. I’d imagine there will also be a lot more besides… 📲 📲 Would love to hear your thoughts though - how do you see the event shaping up? #glowtime #AI #AppleIntelligence #Siri

"Inside Apple’s Big Plan to Bring Generative AI to All Its Devices" We've been touting that AI agents are going to be the future for several years now, where personalized bots will be able to help you make everyday life easier. It makes perfect sense to make AI agents easy to use on a device that most everyone have in their pockets. The big question was always when will there be mass adoption? The turning point is a matter of ease of use, common availability, and integration into a cohesive platform that has all of your data gathered in a single, easy to utilize space. As dystopian as the entire Apple ecosystem has been so far, it really is the perfect launching point for mass adoption of AI tools into the future. Plus, remember how everyone complained that future iPhone iterations were becoming stale, and doesn't really offer new capabilities? Between AR/VR and new AI agents and tools on the device, this offers the new reason to upgrade and juice up device sales.

With the recent launch of the Rabbit R1 and the Humane AI Pin, I can't help but wonder: Are these AI-centric devices entering the market too early? I recently watched MKBHD's review of the Humane AI Pin, and he described it as one of the worst products he's ever reviewed... For Now. While these devices have potential use cases, such as assisting the visually impaired with AI vision, the technology seems to be lagging behind the vision. Marques highlighted the significant delay in responses from the device, which could hinder its practical usability. This raises the question: Will companies like Rabbit and Humane be able to survive long enough to fully develop their products, or will they fizzle out before reaching their full potential? It's worth remembering that when Apple released the first iPhone, it didn't even have the App Store. It took time for the technology and ecosystem to mature. Similarly, these new AI devices may need time to refine their offerings and find their place in the market. Despite the current limitations, I'm excited to see where these products will go. I genuinely believe in their mission of disconnecting us from our screens and integrating AI more seamlessly into our lives. What do you think about the future of AI devices like the Rabbit R1 and Humane AI Pin? Do they have what it takes to survive and thrive, or are they destined to become cautionary tales in the tech industry? Share your thoughts in the comments below! 📣 #AI #AIDevices #Humane #AIPin #RabbitR1 #FutureOfTech
