What you see (1) A single screen interface of a sleep and wellness tracking app. (2) You might also see how clean and well laid out all the elements are and how well they all come together to display a visually appealing design. What you don’t see (1) Hours spent refining and refining several versions of this design to arrive at this iteration (2) Moments of absolutely disliking the earlier version of the design and being ultimately unable to rest till I arrived at an iteration that I loved and am proud of. ………………….. Lessons learnt: Great designs are almost never arrived at at the first trial. A deep level of self scrutiny and the willingness to see better possibilities even in the face of a “good enough” design is needed to push yourself till you’re able to piece together a better version of the design that leaves you with that deep sense of satisfaction. Here’s what’s new: 🔄 Top Section - Number Switch Option: Enhanced visibility and accessibility by moving the number switch option to the top, making it easier for users with multiple accounts to manage their numbers seamlessly. 💳 Balance Display as Second Card: Prioritized essential information by enlarging the balance display and placing it prominently as the second card. Quick balance checks are now a breeze! ⚡ Quick Actions Simplification: Streamlined the quick actions for faster navigation and reduced cognitive load, ensuring a more intuitive user experience. 🎠 Featured Packages and Offers Carousel: Engaged users with a carousel showcasing featured packages and special offers. This keeps the interface clean while presenting multiple options effectively. 🔽 Footer Navigation Bar: Improved accessibility with a footer navigation bar, allowing users to switch between different sections of the app effortlessly.
