Early this year we bounce an idea to re-brand and re-position our workshop management system. ☑ When we started as B2C App in January 2019 and run through the year till pandemic comes, we manage to get close to 1,000 workshops onboard as our merchant. ☑ After pandemic, we pivoting and introduce B2B maintenance & repair platform and services for for fleet - till date POMEN has numbers of customers including PETRONAS Group, Maxis, CTRM and few others. ☑ But there's still a huge gap between the services and workshops on managing their operations. We still had numbers of reply with a payment receipt from the receipt book. POMEN filled up the gap with ENGARAGE, our new re-brand workshop management sysyem where we combine our first merchant's portal and the POMEN Smart Workshop system together with the series of the modules update. ENGARAGE is a cloud-based SaaS with three tier of pricing - and it starts with FREE tiers ! Our intention is to help garage owner to reach their customers, and increase the customer frequency visit to their shop. Which indirectly increase their revenue. We have so many things to roll out in coming months ! #POMENStory #ENGARAGE #WorkshopManagementSystem

Training & Recruiting Manager: attracting and developing best talents | mamma, distopic TV series fan
Starting a new job in Malta can feel like entering a linguistic labyrinth. Malta is melting pot and this is just one of the reason why I love it. But between Maltese, English, and the various languages spoken by our vibrant expat community, communication can get tricky and there's another layer to this complexity: company jargon. Imagine your first day, eager to impress. Suddenly, colleagues throw around terms like "dusseldor" and "moduli" like confetti at a festa. Confusion clouds your face, but you smile and nod, hoping understanding will magically appear. This, my friends, is the plight of navigating onboarding in a multilingual, jargon-filled environment. It doesn't have to be this way! We can bridge the gap and ensure everyone feels welcome and included. Here are some tips: Yesterday I met some of our Lidl Malta Ltd. trainers and these are my 2cents 🔴 Decipher your jargon soup: Train employees to explain technical terms and acronyms clearly and patiently. Remember, what's obvious to you might be a mystery to others. 🟡 Buddy up: Pair newcomers with colleagues who speak their language or can explain company culture. Encourage informal interactions and team-building activities that foster understanding. 🔵 Technology to the rescue: Utilize translation tools and apps, but remember, human connection is still key. For Newcomers: 🔴 Don't be shy to ask: If you don't understand something, raise your hand! No question is silly in the learning process. 🟡 Embrace the learning journey: Immerse yourself in the company culture and language. Actively seek opportunities to learn new vocabulary and understand internal processes. 🔵 Connect with your colleagues: Build relationships with people from different backgrounds. Their insights can be invaluable in navigating both the language and the company dynamics. Remember, communication is a two-way street. By working together, we can turn language barriers into bridges of understanding. Let's create a workplace where everyone, regardless of their native tongue, feels empowered to contribute and thrive. #onboarding #teamlidl #malta

Strategic Legal Professional with a Track Record of Success in Managerial, Advisory and Advocacy - Legal Writing, Legal Research, Litigation, Corporate Matters, and Contract Negotiations
𝗠𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀: 𝗔 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝙐𝙣𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙧𝙚-𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙤𝙧𝙥𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙨: Before diving into the specific case, let's establish some ground rules about pre-incorporation contracts in Malaysia. In most countries, including Malaysia at one point, companies weren't recognized as legal entities until officially formed. This meant they couldn't enter into binding contracts beforehand. The Malaysia Companies Act (both 1965 and the current 2016 version) allows for pre-incorporation contracts under specific conditions (Section 35/65). 𝙄𝙢𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨: 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙬𝙞𝙣 𝙖 𝙥𝙧𝙤𝙟𝙚𝙘𝙩 𝙗𝙞𝙙, 𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙗𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙚, 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮 𝙞𝙨𝙣'𝙩 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙮𝙚𝙩! 𝙏𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙝𝙖𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙈𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙖𝙣 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮, 𝘿𝙖𝙚 𝙃𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙪𝙧𝙪 𝙄𝙣𝙛𝙧𝙖, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙞𝙩 𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙚. ⚖️ 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙖𝙡: Dae Hanguru Infra (let's call them Dae) thought they had a contract with Baldah Toyyibah (another company) to build a highway. But Baldah Toyyibah said, "Hold on, we never signed with YOU!" 𝙒𝙝𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙛𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣? Dae wasn't formed when they bid for the project. In Malaysia, companies generally can't be bound by contracts before they exist. 𝘿𝙖𝙚'𝙨 𝘼𝙧𝙜𝙪𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩: They claimed a special rule called "promoter and successor" applied. This allows a new company (successor) to take over an old company's (promoter) contracts. 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙩'𝙨 𝙑𝙚𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩: No deal! Dae couldn't prove they were the successor to the company that originally bid (the promoter). They also never formally agreed with Baldah Toyyibah to take over the contract. ♀️ Thinking of making deals before your company is official? Talk to a lawyer! Make sure everything is clear and documented to avoid future headaches. The Federal Court highlighted these crucial elements for a pre-incorporation contract to be binding in Malaysia - 📢 𝙈𝙖𝙙𝙚 𝙤𝙣 𝘽𝙚𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙛 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮: Someone acting as a "promoter" (usually the one setting up the company) negotiates the contract for the company that will be formed later (successor). 📢 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙡 𝙍𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙗𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙮: Once the company is officially incorporated, it needs to formally agree (ratify) to take on the pre-incorporation contract. #contract #companiesAct #legal #tips #caselaw

CEO & Founder at LingvoHouse Translations | LangTech, Automation & Innovation | Helping Brands Grow Sales Worldwide
Here is an example of an #awesomeproduct.. from Olly's …(got this on Ryanair - Europe's Favourite Airline ) …yummy pretzels guys 👏 great marketing efforts, fab play of words to make it interesting to the customers and looks cool.. BUT note on the right is “half-way” localisation … only ingredients are localised… Problem? No… BUT It’s enough for the a) buyers who are intolerant to something and watch closely what they eat and b) those who speak those 4 languages ( and by the way, why these 4? German, Spanish and Arabic - I found the product on a flight to Italy 🇮🇹) to make a buying decision… this is very small market share I think… so company is doing it to covering legal risks I imagine.. However, by not localising the whole thing on the packaging, the growth team are potentially missing out on a much bigger market share - all the other buyers who are NOT intolerant to anything but don’t speak English! Something another brand Petcorner and their consultants at Junction Studio understand really well as they have been localising the whole thing with us The topic of #productlocalisation and problems brands have including which languages to start had just been widely covered at #LocWorld51 which I am flying back from .. so could not help noticing the example of a brand that can leverage localisation in full to boost international sales. With all #LangTech that is available in toolbox of human linguists at LSPs like us, #localisation is accessible much easier for growing brands.. why not go after a bigger market ? 🤷♀️ WDYT? LingvoHouse Translation and Localisation #growthstrategy #csuite #globalmarket #productmarketing
