Is this the dark influence of #AI? Here's the thing: #businesses thrive on clear, impactful #communication. When #language gets stale, so does #engagement. How can you transform a business when you can’t even change a sentence? Let's reclaim creativity! Let's unlock (pun intended) a fresh wave of powerful communication. As Annette Simmons stated in Story Factor: Inspiration, Influence, and Persuasion through the Art of Storytelling: “If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a story is worth a thousand assurances.” It's important to remember that AI-generated assurances, while informative, can't replace the nuance of human understanding.

Regulation is going to be so important on AI given the scope for misuse/deep fakes etc. And yet hard to see how we can keep up with a technological revolution which just keeps accelerating in pace and where yesterday's 'unimagined' is tomorrow's 'normal'. WHAT DOES THE ‘I’ OF AI REALLY STAND FOR? Yet again we have been invited to contribute to an article which – given its loopy title, we can only assume has been AI generated. Surely no human intelligence (MAGA and Brexiteers aside) could come up with a topic so divorced from reality: ‘Here's how you can navigate obstacles and setbacks when transitioning to Internal Communications.’ Sorry, but what kind of cretinous ‘intelligence’ comes up with articles like this? 'Transitioning to Internal Communications'. WOT? Transitioning by whom? And from what, FFS? Internal Communication is ubiquitous in all organisations. Everyone communicates, at least with their boss, and usually with colleagues and other peers. Organisations cannot exist without it, any more than people can exist without metabolising food. The very premise of this article couldn't be any more moronic if it were to be talking to you about how you might transition to breathing.  If this is AI generated in the first place, it simply demonstrates yet again that the 'I' of AI actually stands for Idiocy.

One of the most exciting things about my profession right now is the incoming practice of integrating AI into everyday communications. As we work through the ethics and applications of AI, keep in mind the dangerous potential misuse of AI to (inadvertently) exclude or harm vulnerable communities. AI won't take over human-centered communications anytime soon - especially for communities that require understanding and contextualized messaging.
