Loved reading the reports on this, particularly the one on the Food industry! Definitely an important aspect in our world! One area I feel we still need to do a bit more, is amongst our people in the field - our client managers. What is the ideal “ later in life” career progression amongst experienced older auditors, assessors and client managers and how can we harness the potential of our most valuable resource - our older, experienced auditors, to pass valuable knowledge and skills on to the next generation of auditors? How do we apply the key areas highlighted in the reports (especially flexibility, health and mental welbeing) to the sometimes brutal schedules of auditors?
