That course is presented totally free from within the students training initiative from Engineers House | بيت المهندسين. This course included: - The criteria of understanding and reading of the architectural drawings. - The criteria of understanding and reading of different mechanical drawings ( HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, medical gases, swimming pools and water fountains). - The concept of shop drawings.

Excited to share my experience working on my first project designing HVAC, Fire Fighting and Plumbing systems for a residential villa🎉🏅. I would like to review the details of each of these systems and how to deal with them in this project: ♦️HVAC system Design: I worked on designing an integrated HVAC system to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for the building. The Design includes the distribution outdoor units on the roof while ensuring optimal space utilization. The design also includes a duct concealed unit , hi-wall split , cassette unit , inline fan , various diffuser and various air outlets such as linear slot and bar grille. ♦️Fire Fighting System Design: In this part of the project, I focused on designing the integrated firefighting system, including automatic sprinkler systems, use of water pipes, and locating fire extinguishers. I was keen to ensure that the system complies with local and international standards and requirements to ensure the safety of the building and its residents in emergency situations. ♦️Plumbing System Design: I made a detailed design for the water supply and sewage pipe network I also made an XCLIP in the domestic pipe network. In AutoCAD, the "XCLIP" function is a tool used to clip or slice external references (Xrefs) or blocks (Blocks) to a specified area. Using this tool, you can select a specific area in the external reference file that you want to view only, which helps improve clarity of work and contributes to managing large projects more effectively. Here are my first steps in the field of Design and Implementation of Mechanical Systems: designing a complete chilled water system. • Calculating cooling loads, heating loads, overall ventilation using HAP, head loss for the pump using the appropriate fluid mechanics equations, static pressure loss for the fans using Elite RHVAC software. • Selecting indoor, outdoor units and air distribution devices. • Performing pipe sizing, duct sizing using Duct Sizer tool. Key Software: AutoCAD, HAP, Duct Sizer and Elite RHVAC. Key References: Jordanian National Building Codes and ASHRAE.
