Our core principles are the guiding light that helps us drive our organization's objectives and goals. Our first principles guide crucial actions and behaviors that catalyze our company's culture, hiring practices, and rules of engagement.

It's refreshing to see organizations listing company values in their job postings or on their website! Strong values reflect on a company's culture, help to attract more people and help teams work toward a common business goal! Most common values are integrity, teamwork, curiosity, diversity, respect, honesty. The one that surprised me the most that I've seen so far is grace. Do you know what your company's values are? I had to fire multiple people this past week. Here are 3 things to look out for that could help prevent this. The worst part about business is firing people you like. 1. Make sure everyone is aligned on 3 core values, which keep everyone, including yourself, in line. Ours are Competitive Greatness, Adaptability, and Conscientiousness. 2. Employees should prioritize effective internal communication with the team and external communication over anything else. 3. Everyone coming on board should want to grow in their position and industry for at least 3-5 years.
