Neural networks are part of AI and work similarly to our brains. They consist of many small units called neurons. These neurons are organized in layers. One input layer. This is where the data comes in like image or text. 2 hidden layers. This is where the magic happens. The nuance in these layers process the data through mathematical operations. 3 output layer. This is where the results comes out like a decision or prediction. Imagine you show the network lots of pictures of dogs and cats. It learns to recognize patterns for many examples. In the end it can say this is a dark or this is a cat. So it learns through experience just like we do.
