𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄? In the BRCGS Food Safety issue 9 standard, a number of actions have to be carried out '𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆' or the standard also says '𝗮𝘁 𝗮 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆' or '𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿'. What is meant is that the action needs to be done 𝗮𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟮 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁, and NOT 'once in every calendar year'. NCs have been raised in certifying audits where this was misinterpreted by a site, resulting in, for instance, 15 months passing between two internal audits covering the same scope. #brcgs #brcgsfood #foodsafety www.ask-sonia.com

This will not only prevent a potential public health crisis but also protect your business from significant financial losses. Follow us to stay informed on the latest FSMA regulations and to protect your business and customers.
