On a mission to activate a million nature-first thinkers with sustainability training that works 🍞🍏💪 Co-founder at AimHi Earth

💬 “I love the idea of climate training - but will need to convince the team of the ROI” 💬 ”This could be a game changer - but will need help to building the business case” 💬 ”My team desperately need training on these topics - but it’s hard to think about the measurable outcomes” ^^ We heard you! At AimHi Earth, we’re experts at making the complex simple, and inspiring and activating huge teams, at speed… But more than that, we have a track record of supporting organisations with… 1️⃣ Transforming employee motivation, empowerment and alignment (85% of the employees who were previously planning to quit report feeling significantly more motivated about their current role) 2️⃣ Embedding lasting behavioural and mindset change (92% of learners make changes in their life due to the things they’ve learnt) 3️⃣ Cutting employee-related scope 3 emissions by half (51% reduction) 4️⃣ Scoring higher with B Lab, EcoVadis and more... Huge shout out to Matthew J Shribman (MChem Oxon) and María Sánchez Poncela for their work compiling this brand new report by AimHi Earth, illustrating the opportunity, urgency and impact of our training programmes. Check it out if you’re interested in digging into data collected from numerous companies.

There can be no doubting the fact that individuals gain utility from the environment. This value is however seldom expressed, in monetary terms, because the environment is a public good. Some environmental value is expressed on markets in the form of contributions made to conservation and environmental pressure groups. While sums of money given to environmental groups may be considerable, they represent a gross under-valuation of the environment as most consumers free ride (consume without payment). www.greentourismonline.uk

It is hard to get people motivated if they cannot see an immediate benefit.

One of my favourite stats is that 92% make changes in their life according to what they've learned. This is exactly what we want a ripple effect of small changes that create a big positive change.
