“This position wears many hats.” Ok well this position better pay many dollars.
“Are you a rockstar who loves to wear hats?”
So true! Or when the job posting states, "must be able to multitask". I'm thinking you mean be okay with constant interruptions and chase your tail throughout the day.
Pay me in 6 different currencies, thats fine.
Your content is… 🤌🏼 chef kiss
I am just here for the comments 🤣
If you love wearing many hats, go for it - your salary will catch up. It's also a good way to prepare for founding your own company. I love wearing many hats. And early stage startups and small teams love that I do. 18yrs of diverse experiences in design, product management and invention has opened a lot of avenues.
Imagine your boss insisting that you wear a collection of tiny hats on your head daily! Great for tiny hat collectors, but for anyone who has to juggle month end close along with other things... not so much.
And you can bet one of them with me a dunce hat.
My sides hurt now. Thanks, I can cancel my workout today.

5moMy initial thought when reading a job posting shouldn't be "are you looking to hire a person or a whole department?"
