🎉 Need an uplifting story? We've got a great one from Impact Leadership Academy in Aldine ISD! Get a tissue, handy! 🌟 Meet Dillon, a remarkable 2nd-grader with a passion for learning and leadership. After clinching victory in the campus spelling bee, Dillon decided to invest in himself—he used his prize, a gift card, to purchase a book by the inspiring Eric D. Thomas, Ph.D. Inspired by Dr. Thomas's wisdom, Dillon took a brave step and reached out to him. Dr. Thomas not only responded but also asked Dillon a question: "What's one thing you want?" Dillon's answer? "For you to come and speak at my school." And guess what? Dreams do come true! Yesterday was a day to remember as Dr. Thomas surprised Impact Leadership Academy with a visit. And who introduced him? None other than Dillon himself! The power of inspiration and the impact of dreams manifesting into reality—this story tells it all. Let's continue to develop schools that encourage and support our young leaders as they aspire to greatness. 🚀✨ #Inspiration #Leadership #DreamsComeTrue #Education #ImpactLeadershipAcademy Thank you to our Texas principal coach, Aaronthomas Green for sharing this story and Principal Jonathan Kegler for creating a school where leaders are challenged to grow every day!
