Sometime between Thanksgiving and when Mariah Carey signals that it's time to start Christmas prep, there's a day in philanthropy called Giving Tuesday. It completes the holiday whirlwind experience-#BlackFriday#CyberMonday#GivingTuesday. It's like the adult rendition of the "Spend. Save. Donate" piggy banks found in kids' rooms when parents are trying to teach them about budgeting. This international day of radical generosity is brilliant. Yet, there isn't a day in the aftermath of the giving season where for-profit businesses and nonprofits commit to transparency and responsible stewardship. A dedicated day to give unfiltered honesty about what's working, what's isn't, and precisely how your contributions will fuel positive change. #AccountabilityWednesday?
