Celebrating 31 years of calling America my home! People say there are no borders for love, and this is true for my mother, Elena Efimova, and my stepfather, Richard Townsend. They met during my mother’s trip to the USA in the summer of 1992 when she came to teach art as part of a Russian-American professional exchange program. In the world before internet, mobile phones and limited international mail their romance developed and we moved to Ann Arbor, MI in the June 1993. While I deeply value my Russian upbringing and roots, I am grateful for opportunities America has given to me to grow and develop as an individual, entrepreneur, and leader. Since 1998, I have been focusing on my mission of developing and bringing to market top quality and high-performance products and educational resources that inspire and motivate a healthy and chic lifestyle. Throughout my career I have successfully built, acquired, and divested numerous brands, with a strong emphasis on serving the female consumer market. Thank you to my all my friends, colleagues, advisors, mentors, and supporters for helping me live and achieve my American Dream! Photo by Angelika Poletaeva Make up by Katerina Trynkina
