We had the privilege of trimming and helping out a Vermont sun grown cannabis cultivator over the weekend. A friendly reminder to support your local family operated cannabis companies. Here's WHY: -All cannabis operators have to go through the same legal hoops by state to become licensed and get on retail shelves. For larger operators, legal counsel, cash flow, indoor operations, etc. are much more readily available to them. For local and smaller operators, you may have a Team as small as 2-5 people for their entire operation. Labor costs by default become higher. Over taxation in certain states prevents these smaller operators from achieving profitability. And for sun grown operators, nature adds another variable, which can easily disrupt yields. -Most importantly, this is where it all started! Let us not forget our roots. This is a plant. It is organic. It takes many shapes across different cultures and lands. Nugs that are treated with love always give more love back. Let us continue to treat the healing plant the right way and support local operators to make the industry the best it can be. LOVE THE PLANT. 💛 #trimming #cannabis #local #smallbusiness

https://lnkd.in/eRXpwD_p Stop waiting! The time to start is NOW!🪴Not enough Virginia adult residents 21+ are utilizing their god-given and legislation approved right to grow 4 recreational cannabis plants!🍁 I’ve heard every excuse; it’s too expensive for equipment💸, it’s too time consuming⏱, I’m not a gardener👨🌾, I don’t know what I’m doing❓, it won’t be as good as what’s on the street🔥, but I am here to change that 💯. I’m SICK & FED UP w the monopolist anti capitalist “medical”🗑🚮 market and the black market being the only options😥🚔👮🏻♂️. So here is my solution; cheapest possible 4x4ft tent setup from experience (some stuff won’t be cheapest brand bc we want it to last more than a week), simple hydroponic method requiring maintenance 1-2 hours a week max on average✅, and value of the first harvest will more than cover all the equipment start-up costs based on medical dispensary pricing💰4 months to harvest after setup! Easy setup 1 hour max⛺️Never run out,♾ never pay for weed again, and have the best quality you’ve ever tried or I will refund all the consultation costs (sorry cannot refund the equipment costs just the $20 equipment list and $10 plant operating procedure documents)

HOW DO I GROW MY OWN CANNABIS PLANTS INDOORS? Cannabis plants require a lot of attention and very specific conditions to thrive. You’ll need an enclosed space where you can control light and humidity. On average, indoor plants require 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness to promote flowering. Watering your indoor cannabis plants regularly with filtered water will help encourage growth. Click here for more information on growing your own cannabis plants.

2024 cannabis prediction for ILLINOIS 🔮 A majority of the heaviest using & most educated consumers will continue to shop in Michigan 💨 With stringent testing requirements that don’t consider the plant’s natural “good bacteria,” most IL weed is remediated in some way and dry af. Even if it smokes good, the sawdusty IL grind is common. IL has no legal outdoor grow, so no real budget cannabis. Thank god for increasingly affordable popcorn & shake, but otherwise, there just is no budget tier of bud in Illinois. Also good luck finding an ounce of flower on shelf in IL - very few offer it. Michigan has premium, unremediated bud at reasonable price points AND budget & core-priced ounces on shelf. Now THAT’S a cannabis market! 💪 And that’s why IL consumers will keep making the drive. #cannabisindustry #cannabisculture #illinois #michigan #2024predictions

In Minnesota, a group of “Advocates” appointed by Governor Walz, along with several political operatives and lobbyists representing large cannabis corporations, attempted to establish “capital requirements” that were intentionally unattainable for most small-scale and artisanal growers. These high financial thresholds for early cultivation licenses were ostensibly recommended to assist the Office of Cannabis Management (OCM), whose leadership lacks direct experience in the cannabis industry, to weed out small players. This move is perceived by many as a strategic effort to limit market access, effectively excluding small, craft growers who specialize in small-batch production. The implication is that these requirements were not just regulatory measures, but also a means to control the market by restricting entry to well-capitalized, larger players. Be aware that many barriers are proposed behind closed doors. #receipts https://lnkd.in/gT_TwNz3

Unlike other plants, Cannabis isn't grown for its roots, fruit, fiber, or seeds. Cannabis is primarily grown for its trichomes, which are tiny outgrowths that sprout from the surface of Cannabis flowers and leaves as a defense mechanism to protect the plant from pests and environmental pressures. Growing cannabis is about optimizing the density and potency of the trichomes on the plant. Female plants grow more trichomes, with more active compounds than male plants. If the female plant does not encounter male pollen, the buds she produces will be seedless, dense, and covered in trichomes. If she does encounter pollen, she diverts her energy from growing more flowers and trichomes to seed production, which can lower cannabis yields, quality, and potency. For these reasons, many commercial cannabis producers won’t allow any male plants in their facilities and opt to grow all-female crops instead.
