I used some Lithium Werks 26650 LiFePO4 #lithium cells to make my own lawn mower #battery. I did it because I'm cheap, and didn't want to pay the $50 for a new battery. These cell can do 120Amp pulses which is more than enough for a lawn mower. You just need to be careful not to hold the starter down for an extended period of time. They get quite hot under continuous load. #electronics #engineering #engineer #design #diy #pcb

While similar to a potentiometer, a rheostat is a type of variable resistor specifically designed for controlling current in a circuit. Unlike potentiometers, which have three terminals, a rheostat only has two.
