At our event Accent On Sustainability´24, we brought together over 2,500 internal and external participants during the day of June 18th, showcasing how we unleash the power of #EnterpriseReinvention to achieve a more sustainable future. We shared how to harness #data and #value-driven #strategies to enhance #resilience, improve investment rationales, and optimize resource allocation - be it in the context of #ESG regulation or on #Scope3Emissions As sustainability isn't just about numbers, but also about people, we showcased how to make it more human, collaborative, and accessible for employees, partners, and customers. Thank you to Andreas Baier for opening the day and to all my colleagues for their insights like Dr. Kate Sikavica from Technology, Nadja Kroell from Accenture Song, Charlotte Wagner Saunion form Operations, Jorma Schulte from Industry X, Philipp Dahl and Thomas Melde from Accenture Strategy & Consulting. 🌱 Yesterday at the Accenture Future Camp, we had a new fantastic session of the #Sustainability Community Meeting! 🌍 A carousel of panels showcased how Accenture is actively paving the way for a sustainable world from various perspectives:   - Driving by Example: We delved into the success story of Accenture implementing the Carbon Footprint Tracking System. Leveraging Salesforce Net Zero Cloud, it now serves as the new system of record for managing environmental sustainability performance. It meticulously measures and calculates carbon emissions globally across 200 cities for ~738k employees.   - Climateworks collaboration: Accenture is teaming up with Climateworks, a nonprofit organization leading the way in best practice solutions to reduce carbon dioxide emissions such as the Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR).   - Biodiversity and Beyond: A deep dive into an Accenture study on biodiversity—understanding what it is and why it matters.   - Corporate Citizenship: Learn how Accenture is making a difference globally by empowering individuals to drive improved economic opportunities for themselves, their families, and their communities.   - Agribusiness and Sustainability Compliance: Discover how Accenture, assists clients in defining and implementing agri-food Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions monitoring & reporting.   - Our Human Moment: Accenture Song shared insights from a study on life-centric archetypes, emphasizing the most crucial aspects for living sustainably.   Exciting developments, right?
