One of the biggest wastes in sales development? Spending hours dialing people that don't pick up. Think about it: How much time are your reps spending just SITTING there, letting the phone ring, every day? And if you're using a power dialer, that's great, BUT: 1. It's expensive per dial, and 2. You're still just dialing people who don't pick up vs those who do 3. You're unknowingly dialing wrong numbers (49.2% of cell phone #s in most databases are wrong!) and people who have changed jobs The only player in the space that really has this down: Modigie, Inc. No idea why Apollo or ZoomInfo hasn't acquired them outright, yet. (Seems like a clear winning M&A move, though I don't know the financials) For my part: RevenueZen is about to kick off a 30 day pilot with Modigie to improve our cell phone coverage on key accounts. I'm excited to see the results. We did the math on a hypothetical 5-person BDR team, dialing 650 net new prospects 2x/mo on average. Check out my spreadsheet: You spend $1.50 or so per cell phone number, yes. Sounds pricey in a way but not too bad. But now if those are *net new people you couldn't have reached before*... or people whose numbers you thought you had but the data was wrong... then you're calling a less saturated part of your TAM. One you didn't previously have access to by phone, at all. Even with just a 50% lift in Dial To Connect rate and no other KPI improvements, the numbers make sense: → Additional 1-4 meetings set per month per BDR means 10-20% additional quota attainment → Factoring in margins and risk but assuming your BDR process is proven, it's at least 3-8X multiple on spend if not more This could make or break the profitability of your BDR team as a whole. I asked Dee and their CRO if they'd roll out the red carpet for anyone in my network who wanted to give this a shot with us for free... they said, definitely, PROVIDED THAT: → You have at least 5 outbound focused callers (XDRs of some sort) → Dialing at least 200 US based prospects per month if not more → Have been running sales dev for at least 3-6 months if not longer → Using a professional sales engagement tool → Using Salesforce (sorry, no Hubspot here) If you meet that criteria, you'll get free access to their data FOR A MONTH. To kick off a trial, feel free to DM me and I'll do an intro. Question is... Which big data provider is gonna acquire Modigie first and take them off the market?! Game on.

Alex, we are very excited to be working with you and to offer to your industry associates Modigie's 30 Day Increased Engagement Pilot where Modigie will prove they will reach a minimum of 25% more of their Target Market with Modigie running in the background, complimenting their existing vendors. Modigie Operationalizes Engagement for B2B teams and the 30 day pilot requires no software to prove the Increase in Engagement. The lowest increase in engagement we have seen is 56% with the average increase closer to 100%. Very excited to help sales organizations connect with more of their potential buyers, without reps having to do anything differently.

I made a GPT that validate numbers auto-magically. Anyone want access?

Why not use an AI dialer to up those numbers? I know a $150/month dialer can get each of those 5 reps 10+ connects an hour, making over 6000 conversations a month for the team. Don't limit your list, expand it.

I follow everything that Sam Jacobs writes on driving efficiency over growth at all costs. Every Sales Leader is being asked to do more with less. Oh, and by the way, with zero quota relief. Converting at the top of the funnel is critical to success down the funnel. The name of the game is velocity over predictability and there is no better solution on the market today than Modigie, Inc. to make that happen. Every company I work with is blown away by the results they are getting out of Modigie. It's a must-have in today's modern-day sales tools stack. Take advantage of the free month. You won't be disappointed.

Awesome post Alex. Modigie is a very interesting tool to have in an SDR toolbelt. The name of the game these days is efficiency and ROI and Modigie helps to reduce all the wrong and outdated numbers / and prospects that are no longer at certain companies. Nothing is more if a waste of time than chasing people who aren't there at numbers that are wrong. Modigie has a high integrity exec team as well.

Any tool that can help my team avoid wasting time means more time spent on the right outcomes. I’ve been really impressed with the modigie results so far!

Seems like a no brainer. I have seen what the team and Modigie, Inc. has done and they are not only on point but a smart motivated team. Still not sure why so many people have not caught on with so much of outbound calling being done to cell phones. Looking forward to hearing how it goes for your team at RevenueZen
