Today, the D-RisQ Technical Director, Professor Colin O'Halloran gave a guest lecture to 2nd year undergraduate course on Computability, Complexity and Logic at the University of York. Colin is a visiting Professor to the Computer Science department and challenged the students with some advanced thinking on the need for verification. The world these undergraduates will eventually enter will require more complex systems and software, so being able to logically describe the problem in such a manner that enables the problem to be solved - read: 'verified' - is going to be a key skill. 4moHi Allesandro, how are you? I have been retired since 2016 so none of this is my concern. I finally got my last student finished last year taken over by Sarfraz. Most I read historical novels and chasing ancestories of various friends as well as my mother’s and Faith’s! There are other things as well, namely supporting musical groups through Arts on Alexander !
