The Rural Health Hackathon series has come to an end, and I’m so grateful to have been a part of this incredible journey! The final Hackathon took place on August 29 in Wilson, North Carolina, where I had the privilege of mentoring a talented team focused on connecting rural communities to resources and support. Each Hackathon has been a testament to the power of collaboration and innovation. It has been truly inspiring to see how different groups came together to tackle critical issues like workforce challenges and access to care. I'm particularly proud of the solutions we developed to strengthen community connections, which are vital for the future of rural healthcare. A big thank you to everyone involved, especially my fellow team members and the amazing folks at CMMI and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services who made this series possible. The insights and solutions generated through these Hackathons are just the beginning, and I’m excited to see how they will shape the future of rural healthcare. Onward to making these ideas a reality! #RuralHealth #Innovation #CommunitySupport
