This is a must-read article that showcases 3 unique stories of strength and perseverance from three very successful women!
Imagine being a 7-year-old girl, separated from your classmates on a regular basis to be placed in a small room to learn due to your auditory dyslexia. How lonely and isolating! That 7-year-old girl was tutored throughout elementary and high school to build a toolbox that would later help her see and appreciate her superpowers. However, on a daily basis imagine hearing that you wouldn't be able to have a normal job, do normal things, and be made fun of because of this disability! The word dyslexia would put most people into a tailspin as they didn't understand how to work with "it"! That 7-year-old girl found her voice and her strengths and later became a successful business owner! I am proud to say this is MY story. These differences make us stronger and, in the end, bring more creativity, compassion, empathy, and grit to the workplace! ❤️
