They highlight differences in design and manufacturing processes, and their impact on device size and manufacturing cost. The report analyzes 18 IGBTs from nine players: Infineon Technologies, onsemi, ROHM Co., Ltd., STMicroelectronics, Mitsubishi Electric, Fuji Electric Co., Ltd., Littelfuse, MCC (Micro Commercial Components) and Diodes Incorporated. Weltrend’s two SuperGaN adapter boards to date—100 watts and 65 watts—deploy the same SuperGaN SiP (WT7162RHUG24A), demonstrating how our GaN solutions help help customers achieve economies of scale and lower cost implementations compared to competitive solutions. This is the question that the team of the trade magazine Elektronik asks its readers every year and invites them to vote in 10 different categories.   In the category “Power” Mitsubishi Electric Europe - Semiconductor presents the 2nd generation SiC technology based semiconductor module in the established NX housing as a half-bridge module for the 1200V and 1700V classes, each with a rated current of 600A.
