Then read on. One of the biggest challenges facing all systems of government is how to adapt to this age of technology. You want a job with purpose? How to guarantee you’ll never hire any decent machine vision talent. Step 1: Post the most confusing job description possible 🧑🏭 Make it long, convoluted, and filled with jargon. The more incomprehensible, the better! If candidates can’t even understand the role, you’re off to a great start. Step 2: Offer ridiculously low pay 💸 Why pay a fair salary when you can lowball talented engineers? Sure, they’ll run for the hills, but that’s the goal, right? Who needs skilled workers when you can hire someone “good with computers” for peanuts? Step 3: Set impossible job requirements 🎓 Demand 15 years of experience with technology that’s only existed for 5. That’ll scare off even the most ambitious applicants. Bonus points if you ask for expertise in completely unrelated fields. Thankfully, at Zebra, we don't do that.
