Congratulations Jennifer Salerno on your well deserved shareholder election!! I hope you bask in the glory of this milestone in your career. Many people don't realize how important it is to be elected by your peers as a member of firm leadership. Well, let me tell you, it is a big deal. The decision is not entered into lightly. The people who lead our firms are the ones who ultimately make all of the decisions that impact every aspect of the firm, including its success, culture, standards, integrity, and so much more. Before a vote is taken, there are deep discussions about a candidates ethics, credibility, team mentality, client service standards, skills, experience, and other qualities that define a good leader. Cain, NBCT, M.Ed partnered with ED of The Leadership Academy, Mary Rice-Boothe, Ed.D. to pitch a panel discussion on the necessity of affinity spaces at #sxswedu2024. In this conversation, you will hear the results of an external evaluation conducted on our programs that explains the impact of principal affinity groups and what aspects of a community are important for leaders in order for them to thrive in the role.
