Happy Monday Gang... Quick plug, for those of you that have been getting more and more confused with all the AI terms. The Intro to GenAI course from Google is a great starting point to understanding AI/ML/Deep Learning/Generative AI. It gave me a foundational understanding, but I know which sub-topics to dive deeper into. I’m happy to share that I’ve obtained a new certification: Introduction to Generative AI from Google!

I drew a chubby LLM who's ingested a lot of data as a visual cue :)

Today, As an Explore ML Facilitator with Crowdsource, I had the privilege of leading a workshop titled "Introduction to Machine Learning." for Explore ML with Crowdsource Learning Community in Sub-Saharan Africa organised by Laju During this session, we delved into topics such as the definition of ML, the distinction between ML and rule-based systems, the journey from concept to implementation, the differences among AI, ML, and Deep Learning, the history of ML, and the various types of ML, including Classification, Clustering, Regression, Sequence Prediction, and Style Transfer. It was a truly enriching experience.
