✨ Toddler MBA: Business Skills Learned from a 2-Year-Old 🍼✨ I've decided that having a toddler is its own business skills course. Every day, courtesy of a cute, demanding, and very sure-of-herself 2-year-old, I learn something new about patience, communication, negotiation, and leadership. Here are some key lessons from my "Toddler MBA": ⏱️ Patience: Waiting for her to finish a task reminds me that growth takes time. Rushing doesn't help anyone. (It may take her 10 minutes to put on her Velcro shoes, but she’ll be so proud when she’s done.) 💬 Clear Communication: When she misunderstands my instructions, it highlights the importance of clarity in all our communications. (Mommy wanted you to sit in the chair, not in the middle of the kitchen on the floor.) 🤝 Negotiation: Ever tried to convince a toddler that they cannot subsist on just cheese? It's a masterclass in negotiation. (If you’re still hungry after eating these strawberries, I will give you another piece of cheese.) ❤️ Empathy and Kindness: Teaching her to be nice to her new baby sister is a daily reminder that kindness and understanding are crucial in any relationship. (It’s so nice that you want to take care of your baby sister, but let’s not cover her face with a towel.) Parenting is a rollercoaster, but it's also an incredible journey filled with invaluable lessons. So next time you're facing a challenge, think about what a toddler might teach you. Sometimes, the simplest moments offer the most profound insights. #ParentingAdventures #BusinessSkills #LeadershipLessons #familiesatlinkedin

Fascinating. I thought I was hired to be a consultant to my grandchildren. Now you are telling me to hire them as consultants to me!
