Looking forward to joining our friends at the Florida Health Care Association in Orlando on Tuesday, July 23rd at 5:30pm (Gatlin A-1) to talk about strategies for improving #employeeretention and #quality through impactful caregiver recognition. Florida providers know it’s essential to care for our caregiver workforce—and there’s no better way to engage and inspire than to show them the impact of your work and share their stories. It’s what Ceca Foundation is all about—and with our unified recognition platform, #videorecognition capabilities, and operational support we know it will save you time while improving retention. Let us help you bring vibrancy to vanilla employee recognition initiatives and teach how the Science of Recognition makes words of appreciation into meaningful gestures of thanks. I personally guarantee this won’t be your run of the mill session—and of course it’ll get you CE credits. Working in healthcare can be a rollercoaster of emotions - from feeling scared and disheartened, to frustrated and overwhelmed, but also incredibly rewarding. As someone who transitioned from serving in the military to providing healthcare in the community, I have experienced firsthand the challenges of navigating a complex system while striving to provide excellent customer service and patient care. The healthcare system can be daunting and overwhelming at times, with bureaucratic red tape and constantly changing regulations. It can be frustrating when you feel like you're hitting roadblocks at every turn, but it's important to remember that every challenge is an opportunity to make a difference. One of the most rewarding aspects of working in healthcare is the personal connection you make with patients and their families. Seeing the impact of your care and the difference you can make in someone's life is incredibly fulfilling and makes all the challenges worth it. Every day brings a new challenge, but by using our experience and expertise, we can find solutions and make a positive impact. It's not always easy, but the rewards of working in healthcare - the lives saved, the families comforted, the difference made - make it all worthwhile.

I’ve been yelling from the rooftops and talking to anyone who will listen. This situation poses a clear and present danger to healthcare access and the stability of our nation. Yes. It’s a national security issue when healthcare collapses. We are, those who actually provide medical care, not the investors but doctors and nurses, lab techs and housekeeping. WE are MISSION CRITICAL. This threatens us, and our ability to serve. #privateequitymoneyandhealthcaredontmix #cerberuscapitalmanagement #stoptaxpayerbailoutsoftheoligarchy #corporatewelfare #malfeasance

"Today, we are the largest private, physician-led healthcare network - caring for millions of people across the US and beyond. Our transformative, fully integrated model represents a new beginning for America's healthcare system and others around the world." I often write about the BS and fluff on hospital websites, lobby banners, and billboards. Steward Health Care is ONE of the poster children for hubris and greed on steroids. The reality is, today they are a toxic cesspool with executives putting patients and employees at risk. A physician Founder and CEO for all those who insist only physicians own and/or operate hospitals. He's not alone. I'm still celebrating the HCA Healthcare physicians and nurses who went public with their safety concerns in hospitals. Silence is complicity. 💔 #healthcareonlinkedin

26 days. The average wait time to see a Physician. The impact is widespread: delayed care, unnecessary ER and urgent care visits, physical and emotional stress, and wasted spend for employers and members. Accolade chief executive officer, Rajeev Singh shares three areas we're focused on here at Accolade to close that gap and deliver the best care to all employees, when they need it most. In a recent webinar hosted by WTW, industry leaders discussed the risks and opportunities for senior living to delve into the world of managed care. Amy Kaszak, EVP of Strategic Initiatives, speaks on the important partnership between senior living and value-based care. “When you start talking about models that are focused not just on services provided, but more focused on outcomes that are delivered, senior living absolutely is a critical part of that model for residents who live in your communities,” Kaszak said. “You impact all of the factors that drive outcomes.” Click here to read the full article published by McKnight's Senior Living. #seniorliving #valuebasedcare #seniorhealth

𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐲: 𝐀 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 Health equity is more than a goal—it's a shared responsibility that requires collective action, commitment, and accountability. Recently, Caretha Coleman, chairwoman of the Black Directors Health Equity Agenda, shared some profound insights on this topic. Her words highlight the critical role of accountability in advancing health equity and the importance of diverse leadership in driving these efforts forward. "𝘐𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘵𝘩 𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘵𝘺, 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯? 𝘗𝘶𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘮𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘴. 𝘍𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘻𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘥𝘰 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦, 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘴, 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴, 𝘦𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘶𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘨𝘰𝘢𝘭𝘴, 𝘦𝘵𝘤. 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘵 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘵𝘰 𝘢𝘤𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺." This powerful statement by Coleman underscores the necessity for organizations to back their commitment to #healthequity with concrete actions and measurable goals. It’s a call to all of us to ensure our efforts are not just well-intentioned but also effective and accountable. At Archo Advocacy, LLC , we believe in fostering an environment where advocacy is not only empowered but also impactful. Our mission is to support advocates in their essential work, ensuring they drive meaningful change where it's needed most in our communities. Together, we can build a more equitable healthcare system that truly serves everyone. Let’s continue this conversation and take the necessary actions to turn our shared vision into a reality. #Advocacy #Accountability #PatientAdvocacy #HealthcareInnovation

Prior to sharing our news about Unum, had you ever heard of the word? We didn’t even know unum (pronounced yoo-num) was a word until a few months ago! As soon as we discovered it, we fell in love. We’re driven by collaboration, in every aspect of what we do; how we work together and who we work with. Unum is Latin for one, or oneness. It means out of many, one. It means togetherness. When thinking about our purpose and mission, we realized how perfect the word unum represented us. It reflects everything we aim to create in ensuring that patients are included in every step of their health care journey as valued members of the team. Unum represents and reflects our commitment to inclusive and collaborative health care solutions, and we can’t wait to collaborate and work with YOU! #healthcareinnovation #healthcare #patientadvocacy #patientexperience #patientadvocate #patienteducation #patientcentricity #patientcenteredcare #patientcentriccare #patientsarepartners
