Writer, Rhetorican, Educator, Leader

There is a lot of talk that A.I. will change the world, but rhetoricians who have practiced persuasion for as long as I have better understand the language needed to persuade people than A.I. does. While I have studied rhetoric from Plato to the modern day, rhetoric is an art that combines language, sales, psychology, and a shared connection with the audience. A.I. cannot form a real connection with people. It can persuade some folks some of the time, but as of now, it cannot move the soul of man. A.I. will never paint with the soul of Van Gogh or Monet, form a theory of government like Montesquieu or Locke, or write as passionately as Shakespeare or August Wilson. Do not pin your hopes on A.I. because man can never fully be replaced.
