Today, at Endeavor Romania, we take our ambitions to a new level, by launching the Scale Up program. We’re aiming at getting a few brilliant founders to join the inaugural cohort and experience a novel way of dealing with the scale up challenges. What is the program? It’s a crash course for entrepreneurs between Seed and Series A, who have broken or are on track to break soon the $1m recurring revenues threshold and expand beyond the market where they started from. It consists of a tailor-made plan to equip founders with the right tools for the regional and global scene: talent, partnerships, and money. What problem do we solve? Assuming you have a desired product, the most important challenge in scaling up is getting into new markets, by hiring the right teams and using the right partners to support the GTM effort. Having money helps by allowing several cash burn iterations, but let’s face it, funding is not cheap and not aplenty, so founders cannot get it wrong too many times. Wouldn’t it be great to do it quicker and with less wasted money / time? How do we do it? By exposing our founders to the experience and knowledge of other people who have done it, often starting from emerging and early-stage markets like ours. And by connecting them with people who’ve been at the other end, enabling partnerships as consultants or operators knowing the route to the client’s pain. Do we know it all? Not really, because every journey is different, but there are what, at Endeavor, we call predictive pathways. Ecosystems develop almost concentrically from entrepreneurs that succeed and then pay if forward by supporting others to do it. In Romania, we’re in such a game right now, but we’re not there yet, as we need to seed more and see more traction, more success and more money and knowledge re-circulation. We will get there at some point, and our work at Endeavor Romania, as much as this program, is meant to get us there faster. Can we do it alone? No, we need all the goodwill, support and enthusiasm as possible, from other partners in the local ecosystem, investors, accelerators, mentors, angels, or corporate luminaries who want to see our market take off. Wingle lands in South Summit! As proud members of the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem, we had to attend. Let's be honest: we had doubts on whether "it was worth it" for us at this early stage. Long story short: definitely! Overall, it's all about getting the Wingle name out there. To get Wingle to resonate with corporates, investors and the wider community. About building leads not only for the short term, but mainly for the mid and long term. And having said this... lets connect if you're around!

Wingle lands in South Summit! As proud members of the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem, we could not miss being at this year's South Summit in Madrid. Let's be candid: the question from many people (and honestly, also from ourselves) was whether it made sense for such a young startup (Wingle is launching commercially this summer) to attend such an event at this stage. We had doubts on whether we would actually find an interest from the corporates and investors and frankly, whether it was a good use of our time. The answer: for sure it's worth it. We will of course not leave the event with a new investor signed onto the project, nor a "done deal" partnership. But we will leave (and have already) with interesting leads for opportunities with corporates (airlines and airports), with contacts for new investors, with face-to-face meetings with people we had only met on calls before, and with a broader view of the startup ecosystem; whether for now or later. Above all, it is useful in getting the Wingle name "out there" right from the start. It's useful in beginning to talk to VCs and investors and starting to open conversations for future rounds down the road. And it's useful in taking some time to zoom out from our day-to-day rush and look at what else there's out there. So... having said this, let's connect if you're around!
