Release the Trauma of Windrush: A Journey of Healing and Resilience Join us for a profound and transformative event as we gather to Release the Trauma of Windrush. This Black History Month, we invite adults who, as children, were separated from their families during the Windrush era to come together and share their untold stories. Many of us carry the weight of unspoken experiences, the pain of racism, and the lingering trauma of displacement. It's time to break the silence and embark on a journey of healing and resilience together. At this event, we will create a safe space for individuals to share their lived experiences, to speak their truth, and to release the pent-up emotions that have been carried for too long. Through storytelling and collective support, we aim to provide a platform for healing and empowerment. Whether you were left behind, taken to England, or experienced loss and racism, your story matters. Your voice deserves to be heard, and your journey deserves acknowledgment. Come join us to listen, to learn, and to stand in solidarity with those who have been impacted by the Windrush legacy. Together, we can heal, grow, and build a future rooted in understanding and compassion. - Share your story: To RSVP or share your own experience, contact [email protected] - Support and solidarity: Allies and supporters are encouraged to attend, listen, and offer their support.
