"Imagine if..." Mayor Cherelle Parker was remarkable today at the The Chamber of Commerce for Greater Philadelphia 2024 Mayoral Luncheon. Powerful. Vulnerable. Visionary. Humble. Inspiring. She covered a lot of ground and I was so grateful to be in the room where it happened. We - yes, WE - have a lot of collective work ahead to make Philadelphia a city that provides access to economic prosperity for all...that is cleaner, greener, and more inclusive...that prioritizes public safety and public health.... that offers students, "the whole loaf and not just the crumbs"...that enables residents the opportunity to "earn while they learn". "One Philly, A United City." Let's do this. 6moWonderful to have someone who appreciates that leadership comes with vulnerability & pushes forward for the greater good despite it & fueled by it. Do your part, Greater Philadelphia! And that includes the 'burbs as well... which were all a part of yesterday's event as well. Great post, Alyssa!! Pass it on...
