#AHIP2024 brought together thousands of health care professionals for an impressive slate of speakers who shared the latest ideas and solutions for guiding greater health. Topics varied from investment in artificial intelligence to improving trust in health care providers to the impact of real-life experiences for driving change. Some highlights? 🔑 AHIP President and CEO Mike Tuffin highlighted several key priorities to include employer-provided coverage, Medicaid, and Medicare. 🌉 AHIP Chief Health Equity Officer, Dr. LaShawn McIver, MPH, highlighted the current health equity landscape and efforts to close health care gaps in the industry. ⚕️ Dr. Mandy K. Cohen, MPH, CDC Director and Administrator of the Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry, spoke about the CDC’s post-pandemic priorities, including communicating with the public, improving data interoperability and privacy, investing in disease-agnostic prevention capabilities, improving mental health, and supporting healthy communities.
