It includes a multimodal assessment, focusing not only on vehicular impacts but also on pedestrian and transit considerations. Components of a CTR: ☑Traffic Impact Analysis ☑Multimodal Analysis ☑Loading Management Plan ☑TDM Plan ☑Operations Plan ☑Parking Evaluation 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐂𝐓𝐑 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝? Projects generating 100+ peak hour pedestrian trips or more than 25 peak hour/peak direction vehicle trips trigger a CTR. Additionally, seeking approval for new land use or density increase may warrant a CTR. Otherwise, an abbreviated Transportation Statement may be required.

We've come a long way from piles of paper representing copies of old reports and hand-drawn sections* that need to be redrawn after the inevitable alignment change. Adelaide's talk will show how we are embracing digital tools to manage geological and geotechnical data, embrace change, streamline design and communicate risk to decision makers using the principles of IAEG C25 and Leapfrog software. As America's infrastructure ages, countless local governments across the country find themselves at an important crossroads. Faced with the often expensive and critical task of upgrading their local infrastructure, they must decide how to proceed: the most economical option? incremental patchwork? or large-scale overhaul programs that will be a long-term investment in the future. Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, recently faced this challenge, and it decided to look to the future by undertaking a massive overhaul of its aging water system. WTC2025 ABSTRACT SUBMISSION DEADLINE EXTENDED The deadline for abstract submissions for World Tunnel Congress 2025 (WTC 2025) has been extended to June 13. The organising committee said that, after a successful first call for abstracts, it was extending the deadline and encouraged the industry to “take this opportunity to share innovative ideas, research findings, and case studies with international experts and peers”.
