DID YOU KNOW… For the first time this year, #ATRI’s Operational Costs report tracked cost changes in the first two months of 2024. The resulting data show a continuation of many 2023 cost trends. While fuel and tire costs continued to decline into 2024, insurance premiums continued to increase. Similarly, truck and trailer payments increased, although at only half the rate experienced in 2023. Re:Insurance premiums up 6.8%. It is my opinion that premiums may be higher among companies that are not actively involved with associations. Association memebers are more prone to benchmarking and sharing ideas to improve OR. Would like input on this.
