I am thrilled to announce that I have successfully completed my certification in Generative AI! This journey has been both challenging and rewarding, and I am grateful for the knowledge and skills I have gained. One of the highlights of this learning journey was the opportunity to work on an intriguing project during an offline session. I utilized Google Colab to develop an Automatic Code Review System. This system leverages the power of AI to review code, providing valuable insights and suggestions to improve code quality and efficiency. The project was a fantastic hands-on experience that allowed me to apply the theoretical knowledge I gained from the course. It was fascinating to see how Generative AI can be used to automate and enhance the code review process, a critical aspect of software development. I am excited about the potential of Generative AI and look forward to applying these skills in future projects. 2024 marks a significant milestone in my professional journey, as I have strengthened my expertise as an AI/ML Engineer through the AI Engineer Certification from AI Makerspace. This transformative experience has equipped me with cutting-edge skills and knowledge in building impactful GenAI applications. Throughout this hands-on training experience, I explored a variety of topics, including: • 🙋 Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG): Building RAG applications and grounding LLM outputs in proprietary data. • 🕴️ Agents: Developing complex LLM applications capable of reasoning, action, and integrating with external tools. • 🧑💻 Prompt Engineering: Leveraging in-context learning for prototyping, RAG applications, and agents. • 🔢 Embedding Fine-Tuning: Adapting open-source embedding models to domain-specific language or data. • ⚖️ LLM Fine-Tuning: Efficiently training LLMs using techniques like PEFT-LoRA and quantization. • 📈 Evaluation: Instrumenting LLM applications for metrics-driven development. • 🔎 Visibility: Debugging, testing, and monitoring LLM applications • 🚀 Inference & Serving: Ensuring efficient and scalable inference using the right tools and techniques. One of the highlights of this journey was my Demo Day project, where I developed a sophisticated Corrective Retrieval-Augmented Generation (CRAG) system for question-answering on proprietary data. An agentic strategy for RAG using LangGraph that combines self-reflection and self-grading on retrieved documents. The project showcased my ability to build production-grade AI solutions with significant real-world impact. A special thanks to the instructors and support team, 👨🏫🤖 "Dr. Greg" Loughnane, Chris Alexiuk, Sarah deSouza and Chris Lusk🕵️♂️ for the incredible learning experience. This experience has greatly expanded my technical expertise and deepened my passion for AI. I’m excited to bring these skills into my role as Lead ML/AI Engineer at Aquassist, continuing to drive innovation and efficiency in water treatment management through advanced AI solutions. I think, in addition to changing the very definition of what #coding is, or what skills are needed, continued (and exponential) improvements in #AI coding assistants available today, like GitHub co-pilot, Amazon Code Whisperer, and Tabnine will commoditise the ability to make technology products. Increased innovation and competition will simultaneously reduce the wonderful software margins #technology companies have enjoyed for decades. Showing yet again that super profits don’t exist in the long run. #intellectualproperty and #trademarks might briefly serve as tech companies' final bastion, but even this defence is unlikely to last. https://lnkd.in/eKk8wPuZ
