The PRAFS 3620 from PROTOS-3D was honoured as TOP INNOVATION 2024 by an independent jury of experts from the trade magazine inVISION. PRAFS eliminates the need for mechanical, component-specific clamping devices. A large number of different components can be held with just one pneumatic device. It only takes a few seconds to change components, which not only optimises the production process but also significantly increases overall efficiency. Thanks to automated measuring processes and ZEISS Virtual Clamping, PRAFS minimises operator influence and maximises the accuracy of component qualification. A further step towards automation and digitalisation, which makes a significant contribution to improving quality, saves time and costs, ties up fewer personnel and also increases repeatability throughout the entire measuring process.
