I am excited and honored to join the Duke University Board of Trustees. I first stepped on the Duke campus as a high school "TIP" student in the 1980s, then medical school ('90), residency ('97), oncology fellowship training ('01), and on faculty from 2001-2015. I am inspired by the ability to give back and continue being a part of an institution and community that has taught me so much. https://lnkd.in/eC4JetDq
Congratulations and I hope you enjoy the experience.
Fantastic add, and as an alum, I'm very excited to see the university bring someone w/ your background in to shape Duke University's programs.

Congratulations! Wonderful addition to the board!
Still remember ZDogg interviewing you at Health 2.0 in 2016 channeling his dad "You gave up a endowed professorship to join a startup!!" I guess Duke gets ya back! Well done Amy Abernethy
Wow Amy Abernethy they are so fortunate to have (yet another) opportunity to benefit from your service.
Congrats! Go Duke!
Wishing you the best

1wCongratulations and thank you so much for your work. As a 20 year cancer survivor, who has benefited from many health support services at Duke over the years, and now "still here" as a National Academy of Medicine Change Maker for Clinician Well Being And NC Emeritus Art Educator, this news means even more to me.
