Transforming Schools to Become Thriving Workplaces I Keynote Speaker I Facilitator I Consultant I Author I Leadership and Executive Coach

We are taking it really slow today. I have had a massive 2 weeks and I am feeling it. This weekend is all about rest and nourishment, some decluttering and organising before I head to Bali on Monday... I need to be ready for Bali. It's not a holiday. It's a space to write book #2. It's an opportunity to put my thoughts down on paper about how we are going to revolutionise education so teacher wellbeing is the core of decision making and school culture. I have some big, bold, new ideas that will push boundaries and break away from the 'but this is how we have always done it' thinking. Are you ready? #wellbeing #teacherwellbeing #schoolculture #workplaceculture #staffwellbeing

Hi Amy. I am totally on board with staff wellbeing as a lens that we should look through when planning and making decisions that impact staff. I disagree with saying that it should be at the core of that decision making. What is best for students will always be the core consideration, and then everything else, including staff, change management, workload considerations etc etc.

It’s great to read Amy that as an author you practise what you write about. Resetting, refocusing and rearing to go. I’ve been bold with my presentations with principals and leaders as they move forward as well. There is a difference between an explanation and an excuse. Too many use excuses instead of owning the situation and being solution based. I look forward to your next book. 🌻

Really admire you Amy and your purpose. Yes it is definately time for a shake up in Education, and in particular Management in our schools. Our managers and supervisors need to be educated . Teacher well being has been neglected for a long time , and this reduces the quality of teaching and learning in the class room and leads to incredible amounts of frustration all around .

Absolutely need it Amy Green. Can’t come soon enough. The education system is desperately in need of new thinking if we are going to hold onto teachers and give our students the best education.
