Philippines is about to establish its own AI research facility, the National Development Company (NDC) is leading this program, which has the potential to advance the nation in AI innovation while meeting the specific requirements of its people and having Philippine Innovation Hub (iHub), an organization operating under the NDC, tasked to run NDC initiatives. The hub's goal is to coordinate its efforts with international AI standards while customizing solutions to fit the unique circumstances of the Philippines. "We must develop a national filter. Chen underlined, "We need to situate AI within the Philippine context. The hub's goal includes developing indigenous solutions and supporting local talent in addition to encouraging the use of AI to promote creativity throughout the nation.
