What a great day! Thirty days ago one of my SaaS client’s reps thought a deal would close in September. What if we could pull it forward? We created a win plan, collaborated with their champion on a compelling business case and aligned all stakeholders. We also neutralized a gatekeeper who favored a competitor. (They’ll be a fan soon). This morning they received a slightly larger order for three years. Working a Q3 deal? One of the most effective question frameworks I've observed: "How are you thinking about x?" Within SaaS sales, x can be a feature set, a part of your prospect's evaluation process, ways to get their boss involved/political aspects of the deal, etc. Asking HOW they're thinking about x prompts them to speak to their thought process, while asking WHAT they're thinking is much more surface-level. If you can understand their thought process, you're enabling yourself to get a clear window to the truth. What question frameworks do you use? #saas #sales

Simply empathising with your readers does not add value.
