Anthropic’s latest model, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, just released on Amazon Bedrock today. This model combines the speed and affordability customers have really liked thus far from the original Sonnet model, but with much better performance. Claude 3.5 Sonnet is the best performing model in the world today across multiple industry benchmarks for one-fifth of the cost of Opus. Pretty exciting for customers and part of what makes building on Bedrock so powerful – you can update your combination of models as your needs or the technology evolves. I think customers are going to be really impressed with what the Anthropic team has built here. https://lnkd.in/gQwqfZAV
This is what Wall Street analysts say about Amazon AI: Microsoft AI is a Bugatti and Amazon AI is a Minivan:) what say? My fear is with this Amazon’s Minivan AI what would happen to shareholders’ value and retail investors having concentrated Amazon stock positions? https://stocks.apple.com/A-xzTYqJMQbet1YflCV9wqg
When AWS gets it right they are unstoppable. Amazon Bedrock is perfect example and will change how AI is integrated into enterprise applications. Looking forward to closer partnership as we are betting big on Bedrock.
Looking forward to its integration with other amazon tools and work on them
Very exciting news for customers and partners.
This release really highlights the power of building on Bedrock. Being able to update our models as new technology emerges is invaluable. Great work, Anthropic!
Amazon does it right for the Customers again 👏👏👏
That's great news. Is it available in the EU?
Working with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Anthropic has been critical in enabling the Armanino LLP audit platform of the future. Excited to try out 3.5 Sonnet
I guess that the Bugatti vs Minivan description is supposed to be a pejorative towards Amazon?? The last time that I checked, the Koenigsegg Jesko Absolut was faster (310+ mph) and the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon was quicker (0-60 mph in 1.66 seconds) than the Bugatti Chiron Supersport. I'm not a techie, but it seems to me that the scalability and affordability of the Claude 3.5 Sonnet is positioned towards the huge middle market! Once again, a smart move by Andy Jassy and his leadership team! It's always smart to know your "lane"...and dominate it!
