Fall is officially here, and while we're out enjoying the crisp air and beautiful foliage, it's important to keep the safety of our furry companions top of mind. Here are some tips to keep your pets safe and happy this autumn, courtesy of ASPCA 1️⃣ Beware of rodenticides - keep these poisons out of paws' reach as they can be fatal to pets. 2️⃣ Use caution with engine coolant - ethylene glycol-based coolants are highly toxic, so clean up spills immediately or switch to safer options. 3️⃣ Keep school supplies out of reach - glue sticks, pencils and markers can cause gastrointestinal issues if ingested. 4️⃣ Watch out for mushrooms - some mushrooms can be highly toxic to pets, so prevent them from accessing areas with mushrooms and call Animal Poison Control if needed. 5️⃣ Beware of wildlife - autumn increases the chance of snake encounters, so know your environment and keep pets away from potential danger zones.

The Silent Epidemic: Stray Dog Menace Causes Tragic Loss, Calls for Urgent Action Yesterday, the tragic death of #ParagDesai, Executive Director of Wagh Bakri Tea Group, shocked us all. A victim of a stray dog attack, his desperate escape attempt ended in a fatal fall. This isn't just about stray dogs anymore, it's about a life-threatening crisis that's spiralling out of control. No citizen should live in fear or face physical harm. The psychological terror endured, especially at night, is unbearable. Yet, the administration's hands are tied. Animal welfare groups vehemently oppose any action, be it relocation, capture, or neutering. Adding fuel to fire, many volunteers feed stray dogs, unaware of the havoc they wreak. Many don't even live in the affected areas, leaving others to bear the brunt of their well-intentioned actions. We can't ignore the #StrayDogMenace any longer. The time for resolute action is now. The balance between #AnimalWelfare and #CitizenSafety must be struck. It's painful, yes, but nothing justifies our citizens, especially our children, living in perpetual fear. #StayDogs #Dogs #PublicSafety #WaghBakriTeaGroup
