Love this and couldn't agree more that "partnering" with you manufacturing vendors is critical. Every project will experience some bumps along the manufacturing journey and working with vs. blaming your partners goes a long way. 🙌

Those are a great top 3 manufacturing leadership lessons. I especially the first. So many companies dilute their potential and probably impact their overall ROI (product costs, quality, delivery performance, etc.) by not partnering with their CM. Large or small, your CM can help you succeed. Sometimes it’s just time, sometimes it’s $€£ or both. It’s an important relationship not a commodity. Yes, and like any relationship there will be ups and downs. While you can do a lot more remotely these days, you should not underestimate the value of personal interaction. Whenever possible, you should put yourself in a position to look your CM and their staff in the face, shake their hand, smile and make a partnership stronger.
