Building profitable companies, stellar teams, and happy customers.

Our team's happiness is our priority. 20 years ago, when I started in home services, I wrote this simple statement on my whiteboard: “Happy team = Happy customers” I used a purple marker - I still remember, Because it stayed on that board for many years. I know it’s obvious, even cliche now, but at the time it was profound. I’d been observing the inner workings of the business and people, Trying out various roles, to learn more, And it just hit me. Since that time, I put my resources into developing culture, team, and systems to support them. It translated to: - a great place to work - a great place to work with And it turned us into a high-growth, profit machine. That’s why the team is everything to me.

Anne Marshall Not everyone is prepared to acknowledge this truth: sacrificing company culture for the sake of micro-management to achieve higher results often leads to unhappy customers as the outcome.

I've always believed that the paying customer was the front line staffs client, and the front line staff were managements clients. You serve the staff as the staff serves the customer.
