Helping business teams overcome miscommunication, disconnection and ineffective teamwork to improve trust and boost productivity 🔸 Strengthen team cohesion and retain top talent 🔹 Communication Coach
If you only watch one TED talk this month, this is the one. Discover why helpfulness is the key to productivity and the importance of enabling team members to get to know each other so they understand how to help. When you learn not only what makes your colleagues tick but also what turns down the dial on their engagement, you can adjust your behaviour to bring out the best in everyone for multiplier benefit. Thank you Crighton Nichols, PhD for alerting me to this resource. Margaret Heffernan’s insights resonate with me because they reflect what the True Colors program is all about. If you want to give your team the opportunity to get to know each other and boost #productivity, let’s talk.

Happy Monday, Heroes. There's a fresh new week ahead, filled with opportunities to deepen client relationships, create value, and achieve exceptional results. Key account managers do more than just "manage" accounts. We are the bridge between our organizations and our clients. We span boundaries and create the environment for everyone to achieve their best. We are our company's growth engine. 🎧 So, let's start this week with a simple, yet powerful tip—Listen more, talk less. Active listening is the most underutilized yet powerful tool in our toolkit. It helps us understand our clients' needs, challenges, and goals. It shows we value their input and are there to support them, not just sell to them. This week, I challenge you to make a conscious effort to listen more in your client conversations. Ask open-ended questions, let them express their thoughts fully, and understand the nuances of their needs. (And reflect on what it is they're not saying, too) You'll be surprised how much you can learn and how much stronger your client relationships can become when you simply listen. Let's embrace the power of active listening this week. Share your experiences and insights in the comments below! https://lnkd.in/e5zaxPaj #keyaccountmanagement #customerrelations #customersuccess

I HOPE THIS ENCOURAGES SOMEONE: A few months ago, I had a mid-year review in my organization. I took in the feedback given and made adjustments to end the year well. After a week or so, I realized that I didn't take the time to celebrate my progress and accomplishments. I knew I had worked hard but for some reason I didn't slow down to self-reflection and communication what I had done well to myself. So I sat in my office and wrote down all of the things I had accomplished. No matter how busy work or life gets, take the time to recognize and celebrate your wins. Losses, failures and set-backs can sometimes drown out the wins if you let it. Even if it is just one area of progress, celebrate it. TODAY, sit for a moment and reflect on what you have made progress in. TELL YOURSELF, you did good. NOW, keep going! Creating a culture of gratitude and appreciation starts with how you manage yourself. START WITH YOU.
