Attending the Decarbonization Paradox seminar which discusses the opportunities and challenges of industrial decarbonization in Indonesia this afternoon (20/06), together with the Minister of Kementerian BUMN for 2011-2014 Dahlan Iskan as well as the founder of Disway .id , Chair of the East Java APINDO Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia (APINDO) Eddy Wijanarko, Head of Sub-Directorate IV Tipiter of the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate of the East Java Regional Police AKBP Irwan Kurniawan AZ, Senior Manager of PLN Planning for the East Java Distribution Main Unit Agus Setiono, Assistant for General Crimes at the East Java High Prosecutor's Office Eveline Nur Agusta, and friends Universitas Airlangga. Currently, there are many ways to help companies set ambitious and realistic carbon emission reduction targets, one of which is by using the SBTi framework. However, its implementation still requires various preparations from the regulatory side to supporting regulations in Indonesia. Therefore, collaborative efforts between government, industry and society are needed to overcome this challenge. We hope that this seminar can become a bridge to strengthen cooperation and mutual understanding in realizing the transition to a sustainable economy. #Decarbonization #Sustainability #ESG #netzero
